Red Robin Gourmet Burgers and Brews

My husband and I came in at around 9. We just wanted a basket of gluten free fries and two waters. Just a simple date night. Our waiter was a gentleman named Ben. He came up and took our order. He caught us off guard with his reaction of our order but we didn’t think much of it. This was until I over heard him mention our order of a single basket of fries to a co-worker at which point had caught both our attention. This is when he made the comment “….coming in for a basket of fries an hour before close!” Loud enough to hear from the opposing side of the restaurant. Not only were we embarrassed about something that we shouldn’t have been but we were just baffled by the interaction. We ended up leaving trying not to make more of a scene.

This last week my husband & I went on a date and had a great experience. Which can be tricky at some restaurants with needing a gluten free option. Our Server Zayla was extremely kind and helpful with my gluten free request. The food was served in a timely manner and was delicious.

I went in today for dinner between 430-5pm, and my server whose name I unfortunately don’t remember was extremely helpful and kind. I am unable to have gluten so eating out can be a challenge sometimes but he was so informative on menu items that have gluten that you think wouldn’t, and very patient with my requests. Very good service and gentle demeanor. Again I don’t remember his name sadly, but he worked the bar area that I was sitting by.
