Red Robin Gourmet Burgers and Brews

Eh….we hadn’t been to Red Robin before. We went here in lieu of Bru Burger. This was 1ish on a Saturday. Immediately greeted by a friendly hostess and seated…that’s when the fun needed. We looked over the menus and ordered…when our food came I had about 5 fries. I ordered the bacon cheese, received no bacon. The gluten free bun is basically a piece of rubber. For a burger chain in today’s market a good gf bun is essential, this was a 1 star. I’m not sure what a burger here is normally like but I ordered a medium and my friend got a well done. Both were basically charcoal briquette level of doneness. Both burgers were also so “wet” with sauce or mayo or whatever that they were basically inedible… Our waitress eventually made her way back to the table several minutes after we had finished our entire meal to see if we wanted a refill on fries…since I only got 7 fries to begin with I would have take more had she shown up anytime during the meal. No offers for refills on our drinks just a quick reminder that we pay on the table kiosk. We could have ate at bru or tbh anywhere else for the $50 our meal for 2 ran and been much happier or at the least not thirsty…I see why there aren’t that many of these around
