First off, I get that there is a national worker shortage. However, I won’t be returning to this restaurant and here’s why:
We frequent this establishment because they offer gluten free options and have an allergy protocol. This is extremely important to us since my daughter is celiac. Ordered online. Food was delivered to my home but my daughter’s meal was not gluten free. Called, offered a refund or new order. Elected to have a new order made and I would pick it up. Arrive in the parking lot and called that I’m here for curbside. Waited 30 minutes, no exaggeration. Figured there was a problem when other cars came and went from curbside pick up. Went inside and asked for the manager and a refund. They agreed immediately. But then the point of sale system is down and they cannot issue a refund. So here I am, waiting an hour for a refund with no resolution in sight.
Sorry, I can’t return to a restaurant where my daughter isn’t safe to eat.
