I’ve dined at RedStone probably since ‘08 and the food has always been excellent, especially the ribs and the prime rib- both being gluten and dairy-free.
This time, however, waiter informed they use butter on the prime rib and on the ribs. I understand butter on the ribs as some bbq places use it. Questionable practice but ok.
But anyone knows butter is frequently used to mask bad meat: top beaf requires only salt and pepper.
The medium-rare, tapas-style New York steak I ordered was good, warm center and juicy.
I say tapas-style because the steak was the size of a keyfob. I am sure the miniature cattle was Angus lol
I only brought this up to the waiter after I paid, as to not make it a money issue.
Maybe a bad night, but I was seriously underwhelmed and that is a first at RedStone
PS I am also cursed with small hands and not Seinfeld sized ones ;)
