A remarkable experience from beginning to end. Excellent food with top of the line service and the perfect atmosphere for fine dining. Everything was able to be made gluten free

Recently went there to celebrate my husbands birthday. The food was really really good however I gave this 2 stars as despite notifying them of my allergy and all foods being served was gluten free, I was accidentally served gluten in one of the dishes and wasn’t notified until after I had eaten the dish. The restaurant was really really good however in rectifying their mistake to the best of their ability and transparent by telling me as soon as they were aware of their mistake. However, this really shouldn’t happen for a restaurant of this calibre. And ultimately, it did mean I had to suffer the consequences of eating gluten as a coeliac and it left a bad blemish on an otherwise great day and special day The food, aside from the above experience, was really tasty and the restaurant was beautiful and had a lovely ambience. I would definitely recommend it in all these aspects and the service was really really great. I don’t think I’d be able to recommend this to people with allergies however, due to my experience, which is surprising because usually this type of restaurant is very accommodating. This could very likely be a once off but I can’t not mention in my review Lastly, I would like to highly recommend their oysters. The waiter recommended it according to our taste preferences and I have to say, it was possibly the best oyster I’ve ever had
