We had an amazing dinner at Remington Tavern, and a huge part of that was thanks to our server, Lily. She was attentive and super personable. One of our friends has celiac, and Lily immediately put us at ease with her knowledge of the menu and gluten-free options. She asked questions and made great suggestions for our entree choices.
The food didn’t disappoint. The blackened ribeye was outstanding! It was packed with flavor and not overly fatty like ribeyes can sometimes be. The Atlantic halibut with cherries and almonds was fresh, and seasonal with cherries. Our friend went with the pork chop based on Lily’s recommendation and absolutely loved it.
Our gluten-free friend had the salmon and couldn’t stop talking about how good it was. There were plenty of GF options, and the kitchen was happy to tweak other dishes to accommodate.
We ended the night with a gluten-free dessert, the flourless chocolate cake and the chocolate peanut butter crunch cake. Both were delicious!
Remington Tavern really delivered on all fronts. Great food, great service, and a welcoming vibe for everyone. If you go, definitely ask for Lily—she’ll take great care of you.
