Excellent gluten and lactose free brioches and various sweets...

It’s a shame this place wasn’t as good as we’d hoped. Since it has many gluten-free items including baked goods, breads and pastas, we thought we’d give it a try. Very disappointing because my risotto dish was way too salty and my wife’s dish of passatelli had a strange combination of ingredients with a diminished flavor. Then we ordered some biscuits that they bake on the premises and were sugar-free but oh so dry! Without coffee or tea they were not edible. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this establishment because their service was really bad. By the time I had finished my risotto or what I could eat, they still hadn’t brought my wife’s dish. At least one lady came to our table and took responsibility for misplacing our order and not submitting my wife’s order in time. There were a lot of people in the restaurant so it seems that gluten-free menu items are becoming more popular.

A true GF happy island in Falciano di San Marino. Having ended up in the area by chance, we found ourselves surrounded by a rich and fragrant gluten free buffet (both sweet and savory) as well as an uncommon availability and welcome. Having stocked up because we are from Bologna (pizza, croissants, cream puffs, Halloween biscuits and meringues) we are treated to an exquisite buckwheat bread. The prices are perfectly in line with the average of GF restaurants in Bologna and the kindness of the staff (smiles, willingness to taste and excellent preparation of everything in small trays for safer takeaway) make this place a happy island to return to. I highly recommend.
