Restaurant Bündnerland Luzern

Bundnerland is an authentic Swiss experience. We had a fondue, mici, raclette and pork cordon Bleu. Although not everything is listed as gf, most dishes can be made gf. The staff were trained well and friendly. I can be pretty sensitive with gluten so was a little worried about using a fondue pot that would have clearly had gluten bread over the years in it, but there is so much fondue in it, I think the likelihood of anything trapped in the edges of bowl is pretty small to make it onto the food. I had no issues with any. Nice family feel atmosphere.

Bündnerland is one of the best restaurant experiences I’ve had in Europe! The food is beyond delicious, the service is warm and welcoming, and the restaurant itself has such a cozy atmosphere. I was traveling with my girlfriend, who has celiac disease, and the staff were very understanding and helpful. They prepared the entire Swiss Tour Menu gluten-free so that we could both sample everything. Every dish was fantastic, but the fondue and cordon-bleu were our favorites. I also enjoyed the house aperitivo. The service was attentive but not at all rushed, so we were able to have a lovely, relaxing evening. Thank you to Fabian and Bündnerland- hopefully we can come back if we are in Lucerne again!
