I recently had the pleasure of dining at Chamäleon, an exceptional Swiss restaurant in Vienna that also offers Austrian cuisine. Located on a quiet side street, this gem provides a wonderfully romantic atmosphere.
The highlight of my meal was undoubtedly the cheese fondue made with Zugerberg cheese. Its deeper flavor compared to traditional fondue was a delightful surprise, rich yet not overpowering. One guest was accommodated with gluten-free bread. Another guest very much enjoyed the Wiener schnitzel. The service was superb, with welcoming and attentive staff.
To top it all off, the apple strudel was absolutely delightful, a perfect ending to a fantastic meal. I highly recommend Chamäleon for anyone looking to enjoy a memorable dining experience in Vienna.
