This place blew our minds. The food here is absolutely spectacular. The combination of ingredients and how it’s layered is pure art. The carrot & ice cream dish is one of my favorite things I’ve ever eaten. The steak tartare, liver mousse, frites, and duck & chicken were all phenomenal too. The service was also perfect. Our waiter and the rest of the staff were so friendly, and incredibly attentive and accommodating to our allergies (including gluten) and questions. 10/10 highly recommend.

Absolutely fantastic. Service was impeccable, food was divine, and such a cute spot. Had the carrots and ice cream as a recommended dish and it blew us out of the water. Tartare and spaghetti squash salad were also 10/10. They were also very accommodating for gluten free substitutes- will definitely be back!

Response to owner: I'm happy to provide feedback, I thought I already had. My friends and I very excitedly came to your restaurant to celebrate a special birthday. We ordered several items including the salad, fries, burger, chicken kofta, steak tartare, and the turnip cakes, of which I would say only the steak tartare is something I would eat again. The burgers were dry and the bun of poor quality, the turnip cakes were too peppery to finish, and the chicken kofta missed the mark as well. The sauces served with several dishes were identical. We had specified gluten free throughout our meal as one of us has celiacs disease, yet his cocktail was brought out with a chocolate chip cookie in it...not one that was gluten free. I understand that the cookie is the thrill of that specific drink but such care should have been obvious one. I like what you're doing with promoting Ontario products, the wine we had with our food was excellent. The food aside, the restaurant was very loud and it was difficult to carry a conversation. There were fruit flies everywhere. The kitchen was right next to us and the noise and smell of fryer oil (and things burning in it), was overwhelming. One of your servers was lovely but there was another who was in training and kept hovering above us reaching for empty drinks and plates. There were three of us in the reservation and we all agreed it was a fun experience to try but we won't return.
