A perfectly organised day on the water. Highly recommended! With a group of six we opted for the day package ‘Gezellig Giethoorn’ and that turned out to be the perfect choice. Everything was organised down to the last detail from start to finish. We started with coffee/tea and a treat, were given a surprisingly extensive lunch on board (everything nicely chilled and ready upon departure), and were able to end the day with a street food dish of our choice. The electric boat was comfortable, clean and in top condition – which really counts when you are on the water for six hours. An extra plus: they really took into account a gluten intolerance in our group, both at lunch and during the snacks. Not self-evident, and therefore all the more appreciated. In the evening the pace in the restaurant was a bit slower – food and drinks took a while – but we saw that the kitchen and service were running with a small team. Understandable, although it took some patience. The red sailing route (approximately 4 hours) led us away from the hustle and bustle of Giethoorn and took us along the most beautiful parts of the Weerribben-Wieden National Park. Pure enjoyment! In short: if you want a relaxing and well-organized day trip in Giethoorn? Then this is the place to be.

We were lucky and got a table for 3 people in the evening on Easter Sunday without a reservation. The restaurant is quite dark, but has generous seating. The service was quite slow but friendly. The menu is not extensive, but it is also vegetarian. For children there is only the classic choice between fries with chicken nuggets and fries with Frikandel. But: The fries are really tasty! For the carpaccio of yellow beetroot with sprout salad (delicious!), upon request, I was served gluten-free white bread, which tasted very good and freshly baked. No. 3's burger was also said to be very good. Toilets with changing tables. Extensive wine list. Ground level access.
