I have celiac disease and a friend made a reservation for dinner on Saturday night when he saw that they had gluten-free options.
We sat on the terrace and everything was going smoothly, the atmosphere was very peaceful, the waiters' treatment was unbeatable and indeed, there were several gluten-free options on the menu.
At the beginning of the dinner I asked for gluten-free bread that never arrived and several starters to share. When we finished, they brought the menu back to see the desserts and I was surprised that four of the five they had on the menu were suitable for celiacs.
We decided to share a chocolate coulant and a French toast with ice cream.
I tried some ice cream and when I already had a piece of French toast on the spoon, I was overcome with doubt. We asked the waitress again, who went to consult in the kitchen and came running back asking if she had eaten any of the desserts since they both had gluten. They had served me poison for celiacs.
Honestly, they ruined my night, then the manager came out to apologize for the error in the letter, no one on the team had noticed (?? intolerable).
They apologized many times and tried to treat me to another dessert, but I just wanted to leave.
On Sunday I was in bed all day, with weakness, vomiting and chills.
I write this review for any celiac who is looking for information about this site, so that they take great care if they decide to go.
If this happens to anyone in this restaurant or any other, please request a complaint form. I didn't do it and I regret it. Enough of playing with people's health.
