A perfect place to eat, on the descent from Teide to La Orotava, very close to Puerto de la Cruz.
The food is traditional Canarian, homemade, very tasty, and abundant.
The main courses you see in the photos are half portions, and thank goodness, because that way I got to try the dessert, which was delicious.
The menu is 100% gluten-free and free of cross-contamination, suitable for celiacs. They have gluten-free beer, bread (some seeded rolls looked delicious, but I didn't try them), many desserts...
The views are beautiful, overlooking the Orotava Valley and the ocean.
The waiter who served us was a young man, super friendly, and explained all our questions.
Everything was perfect.
We ordered:
♡♡♡♡ quart of red wine
♡♡♡ salad
♡♡♡♡ ½ tuna croquettes (4 each) (you can choose the flavor, the same for every 4 croquettes; they come in 4 at a time, and they have tuna, Manchego cheese, spinach, chicken, gofio, almogrote, and maybe something else)
♡♡♡♡ ½ carne fiesta with papas arrugás and red mojo sauce
garlic rabbit
♡♡♡♡♡ lemon pie
This is the first time I've tried lemon pie, and it was delicious, everything—the cookie, the lemon cream, and the meringue—perfect!
Thank you so much!
