I came with my coeliac partner because this is one of the places advertised to do quite a bit gluten free. The service was lovely (except for at the end when they got busy and we struggled to get the bill for about 15 min), and we were accommodated well - gluten free options described and gf bread supplied as well! However, the reviews are generally quite good, which is why we came, but this place did not live up to our expectations. I saw their regular pasta and it looked amazing, so I have no doubt had we ordered something else, it would have been good. But we ordered gluten free pizza. We were sad to find out upon its arrival that it was a premade frozen pizza with the advertised toppings on it. It tasted fine, but as you can imagine, since pizza bases are not too difficult to make, even gluten free, so we were not very impressed at all. The jamon was also rather dry. I should say, the gf bread, while in stock and heated, came still part cold from the freezer. The desserts however, were very good, and so was the wine and live music. I wish I could give halves as this would be a 3.5 from me, but as I cannot, I am sticking with a 3. It’s a shame because the place was full and is nearly on the beach. But for €80, it was not worth it in terms of the premade goods. While I understand cross contamination concerns, we could have got that kind of product from the shop ourselves. It would be nice to see them make the bases.
