Restaurante No Patio

We told the waiter we are gluten intolerant and they said they had zero options on the menu for us. They said all of the sauces for every main has gluten. I asked if they could make a custom sauce for us and they said yes. They served us bland dry chicken and steak with no sauce at all. They also served us a goat cheese salad with a big hunk of break on it. When my Mom said she was also gluten intolerant, they offered her a gluten free bread alternative. Not sure why they did that for her but not for us. This restaurant is simply not equipped to deal with dietary restrictions in any kind of agile or creative way and we felt our dining experience was subpar as a result. I wouldn’t come back. They also put us in a dark corner when there were plenty of better tables available. Disappointed.

Enter the restaurant off a quieter street in Lagos & enter a place of elegance & charm. The patio is gorgeous! Our server, after checking with chef, recommended a meal that would be gluten free. I enjoyed delicious GF bread while Ross had a assortment of different bread. We shared a fantastic prawn appie along with our 1st glass of Portuguese wine. Pork cheeks for Ross, chicken for me. To say "divine" seems to tame. Definitely one of the best meals we have ever had. Creme brulee to finish! Highly recommend this restaurant!
