Restaurante San Remo

We ate there yesterday. If you're celiac, this restaurant isn't for you. We informed them when we made our reservation and a month before we planned to return. The menu doesn't list allergens. We tried to order rice, and the waitress told us the rice contained gluten. What do you add to rice to make it contain gluten? You people who boast about using natural and carefully treated products? When it came to dessert, the waitress told us we couldn't have any dessert. When we got angry, saying we'd told them months before that someone was celiac, she asked again and offered us a gluten-free coulant. When it came time to ask for the bill, we had to complain about it three times. The food was good, the waitress who served our table was very friendly and professional, but the experience wasn't to our liking.

It has been a very nice experience. Delicious food in a very pleasant atmosphere. They have been very careful with the gluten-free diet for one of the starters and their gluten-free bread is very good. We loved it and we will return.

The place from the outside looks a little shabby but inside it surprises you, the service was very good but the food, everything was very good but... On Saturday the 20th, two couples with two small children went to eat, my husband is celiac and we saw everywhere they had very good comments, but we don't know what dish it was, but you contaminated my husband. We ate ham croquettes, white shrimp salad and rice with lobster, in principle everything was gluten-free, even the bread... but it was annoying all night. It is important to be careful with these people and contamination, since it threatens their health. We left very happy with everything without knowing that it had been contaminated. You have lost a good clientele and we will tell everyone. For people without allergies it's great, but not with allergies, they don't have to be careful. Very sorry.
