Rick’s Place Italian & Gluten Free Restaurant

Such a lovely place with exceptional customer service and outstanding quality food. The entire menu is 100% gluten free, making it perfect for those with coeliac disease and other dietary requirements — but it’s truly great for everyone, not just those eating gluten free. The food tastes like natural, home-cooked cuisine. I took my dietitians here for our annual Christmas party and couldn’t fault a thing. We enjoyed a beautiful lunch paired with drinks, all served with genuinely lovely service. Highly rated for anyone looking for a fantastic local spot for lunch or dinner. We’ll definitely be back!

My partner and I dined in at Rick's Place recently and I want to say how impressed I am with the fantastic customer service. Rick was present that evening and both him and the front.of house staff member/waitress were so friendly. Rick made some meal suggestions for us and the good news is there is a fairly large vegan menu so spoilt for choice! My partner had the Aussie burger (meat option) which he enjoyed and I had the eggplant parmigiana which was full of flavour. Plenty of gluten free options too! As we were sitting down a family with two small children walked in and Rick gave the children some colouring pictures with pencils to keep them entertained. It was wholesome to see children being included and families made to feel welcome. Highly recommend Rick's Place !

Absolutely outstanding experience! This Italian restaurant is a true gem. Every dish on the menu is completely gluten-free, and they catered to other dietary needs with such ease and confidence that it instantly put us at ease. Our host, Rick, was genuinely lovely — warm, attentive, and stopped by several times throughout the evening for a friendly chat that made the night feel even more special. The food itself was nothing short of delectable. We shared several dishes, and it was honestly impossible to choose a favourite — each plate was beautifully prepared and bursting with flavour. Everything was so incredibly tasty that we ended up purchasing extra meals to take home, and we’re already looking forward to enjoying them. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for exceptional food, thoughtful service, and an all-around delightful dining experience. We can’t wait to return!
