The guys who work at the shelter are kind, helpful and very attentive. I stayed here for a couple of days for work and I felt at home. I had warned them in advance about my celiac disease problem and I was amply fed. Everything was clean, welcoming atmosphere, comfortable beds + adorable dog and exceptional view. The only flaw: there is no sofa. I will definitely be back ❤️

Obviously it is a mountain refuge, so you shouldn't expect treatment from a 4-star hotel or a starred restaurant, but everything is clean, tidy, the food is good and reasonably priced and they have gluten-free options. The location is also spectacular, Etna east, with the possibility of taking a beautiful route, the Citelli-Serracozzo, starting right from the structure. Very kind, friendly and prepared managers. To be discovered even just to have a sandwich or a coffee.
