Rip off! Act chic, but are below every class!
We had reserved a table for 9 p.m. and we were there at 9 p.m. sharp. As soon as we were greeted, people joked that we had to wait for us. Even before everyone was seated we were informed that we could only have the table for one hour. Friendly is something else!
When ordering, we were told that you had to order at least two courses. When we replied that we only had an hour, people laughed and said it would work out. The pushy waiter insisted that we order another wine and suggested bottles between EUR 120 and EUR 600. However, we decided on a bottle for EUR 38. This probably didn't suit him because the wine was never served (except on the bill).
Contrary to what was stated at the time of the table reservation, there was no gluten-free pizza, but at least gluten-free pasta. There was no pizza at all. We therefore had starters and then 1x gluten-free pasta carbonara, 2x grilled chicken and 1x chicken Milano (ergo schnitzel).
For an upscale restaurant you should be able to expect to get your own cutlery for each course. The appetizer cutlery with blunt knives was placed back on the table from the appetizer plates. Some of the knives from the cheese plate were not clean for the main course.
The pasta was good. The chicken Milano was breaded, but Parmesan never saw this breading. The grilled chicken portions were so dry, any street food grill can do better...
Finally, we had to complain about the bill because the wine that was never served was of course charged.
While waiting for the bill to be corrected, we observed a couple standing up after studying the card. The napkins that had already been used were not exchanged, but were folded again and made available for the next guest.
At the end you can't acknowledge your displeasure with a tip, because in addition to the usual Italian "Coperto" there is an additional 12% "Servizio".
If something like this is opened automatically, the waiter saves himself the service. This restaurant will never see us again!
