I'll start by saying that I don't usually leave reviews, because I understand that there can be bad days, but this experience was a real joke.
I called this restaurant encouraged by the reviews and by the fact that it is one of the few restaurants in Ischia to do gluten-free (for this reason alone I give it two stars).
We ordered:
1 mixed appetizer, 20 euros consisting of four counted and not at all abundant things
1 mixed fried food, 22 euros, a really miserable portion
1 bottle of wine for 26 euros (the least expensive on the list)
2 coffees
2 bitters
Total: 93 euros (I honestly don't know how we got to this total)
The wine, as soon as it was opened, immediately presented a problem: the cork broke and pieces of cork ended up in the glasses. We pointed it out politely, and the waiter thought it best to throw away the wine in our glasses and replace them with clean ones... without changing the bottle, however, or recovering the wine that had been taken from us. In essence, two glasses that we had paid for were taken from us.
I am the daughter of restaurateurs and I know well what it means to work in this field. And precisely for this reason I find this behavior unacceptable: this is not just a lack of attention, it is wanting to screw the customer.
