The place is very warm and welcoming, I would even use it for appointments because it is decidedly elegant albeit informal. There were 9 of us and they did their best to accommodate us, including one person with celiac disease. The food was all very good and of high quality, which is not easy in Florence. I don't know if it's the norm but the boy, perhaps the owner, who served us did everything himself with speed and calmness and managing 9 diners with 9 different dishes is never easy. In response to the owner I wanted to say that there are two reviews because one made by my wife with the fork after booking is one on Google by me. Since reviews are automatically requested after an experience in a restaurant, it is my right to write them and write what I think, not with the aim of discrediting but of helping others in their choice and of being able to improve subsequent experiences; because that's what reviews are for. There was never talk of a gluten free menu, which none of us expected, but of the fact that the girl thought she had more choice based on what she had read. I understand that the menu may vary but it doesn't take much to change it even on the website and on the platforms used to advertise because even if there is no law that requires the corresponding menus, one should refer to the principle of fairness towards the customer, since thanks to the money he brings you don't close your doors. As for the accusation of hiding behind a telephone, it is only a pretext to defend oneself because it is the customer's right to write what he thinks otherwise we would live under a dictatorship, furthermore if some of the staff had deigned to ask for an opinion at the end of the evening instead of simply to present the bill we would have gladly talked about it. Maybe if you are not able to handle criticism, if we want to call it that, you should change jobs.
