My family spent a week in Italy (Florence and at Lake Garda/Desenzano) and our first dinner at Al Portico was so fantastic and the experience at this family owned restaurant so delightful that we had to go back. The second meal was even better as we felt like we were having a Sunday family dinner in Naples! They were also incredibly helpful around our gluten sensitivity issues as well. I highly recommend having a meal here when in Desenzano!

Just ate at this restaurant tonight and had an fantastic meal! We had two members of our party who are gluten sensitive and they were terrific at accommodating for their needs. We had an amazing pasta dish. The family running the restaurant made us feel right at home.
