Ristorante Collegigliato Pistoia

Unspeakable. We went here for a first communion lunch. Terrible service, alas in any respect! Cutlery that falls and is put back on the tables without changing them. Celiac child served with a plate of unseasoned pasta instead of sauce, as agreed with the owner in the menu. Cutlery that is never changed from starter to main course. Bread and grated cheese that remain on the tables even when dessert is served. Empty bottles abandoned on the tables without ever clearing them. We waited more than an hour between the starter and the first course. Risotto with courgettes and courgette flowers absolutely tasteless. Very salty and unseasoned macaroni with Pistoia sauce. Also pointed out to the owner who shrugged. Even a feather from who knows what animal was detected in one of the second courses, and sleeping waiters who didn't notice anything at all. Not enough cake for all the guests at the reception: 6 guests including the birthday boy were left without cake... Sparkling wine served only much later, when the cake had already been eaten. Coffee never arrived. Very unpleasant altercation between the rude owner and some guests over the request to move a garden umbrella to shade one of the tables. When asked for ice to cool the drinks in the glasses, ice was taken from a bucket used for bottles, moreover with the hands... A disaster! Undeservedly very high bill. If the level of service and the quality of the food are these, Collegigliato simply doesn't know how to cater for large events. It's a shame because the location deserves it, but without staff in the dining room and kitchen who are up to par, it can only close. And the bitter disappointment of what should have been the celebration of an entire family remains, forever.

I celebrated my "intimate" wedding in this wonderful place a few days ago. Mrs. Laura personalized both the menu, also adapting it to celiacs, and the room where we held the civil ceremony. Competent and kind is an understatement. During lunch we were served by Salvatore, an ok waiter, friendly enough and competent. The food was excellent and plentiful. I don't know how to thank you for everything they have done for us. Thank you so much ❤️
