This place is located in the oldest part of the city and is the oldest restaurant on the islands (since 1910). We came here on the advice of someone who had been there in 1971 who had told us that even at the time it was an above-average restaurant in terms of its offerings and prices. The menu is the right balance between tradition and contemporaneity, without getting lost in architectural games on the dishes, but still offering a certain elegance in the dishes. The raw material is top quality fresh with always different proposals based on the catch. Some products are branded by the restaurant such as oil and wine. Very large cellar. We chose home-smoked swordfish rolls with prawns and lime and hot swordfish and artichoke rolls, both really good. As first courses, cuttlefish ink risotto with local ricotta and sun and sea ravioli, filled with fish and burrata. Abundant desserts for true gourmands. All very tasty and tasty. There are many gluten-free options on the menu, even with pasta available. Impeccable service. We felt treated with great elegance and we believe that the value for money is correct. The website does not live up to the quality of the restaurant.
