Ristorante il locandiere

Incredible surprise, we were walking and found this little gem! My partner is Celiac and the server took all the precautions and offered gluten-free meals with little attention that was much appreciated. I highly recommend! Thanks to Fabriso for his kindness.

During my visit to "Il Locandiere", I had the pleasure of discovering a restaurant that perfectly embodies the art of Italian seafood cuisine. Located in an intimate and welcoming environment, "Il Locandiere" offers an extremely pleasant gastronomic experience. We started with a selection of cold and hot starters (very generous), each demonstrating the freshness and impeccable quality of the fish, cooked and marinated to perfection. The first courses, prepared with fresh pasta, were a true masterpiece, with balanced and surprising combinations of flavours. Another pleasant surprise was the couscous and Sicilian croaker, cooked to perfection. To conclude, the pistachio semifreddo (and what pistachio!) was the icing on the cake, a simple but exceptional dessert. The service was excellent: fast, courteous and with extremely helpful staff, which made the experience even more pleasant. I would like to specify that I am celiac: the staff was very attentive and helpful in showing me the gluten-free dishes on the menu. They were also willing to modify some dishes to suit our needs. The quality-price ratio is excellent: for lunch, for around €36 per person, we enjoyed a very high-level meal, including two courses, wine, water, coffee and dessert. In summary, "Il Locandiere" stands out for the unquestionable freshness of the fish, the quality of the ingredients and the culinary combinations. A place that I highly recommend to fish lovers.
