This place is a dream find for anyone needing a gluten free diet. The meal was outstanding and the staff couldn’t be friendlier or more professional. It made for a truly incredible lunch in a picture postcard location. Neither I (as the coeliac) nor my fellow diners felt that I had to miss out because I needed to eat gluten free. They provided gluten free bread basket absolutely full of GF treats. The three courses were all made gluten free including a seafood platter of fried octopus, squid, fish and white bait. Delicious! Next we opted for the special of the day which was lobster spaghetti. The gluten free pasta was incredible and cooked to perfection! I couldn’t have been happier! Just wonderful place that I hope I get the privilege to return to one day. Thank you so much to the staff for caring so much about gluten free customers and for making our quick visit so delightful. Oh! And try the local Verminto wine! Delicious.

First, the Il Paguro restaurant: The location is excellent. The starters were truly fantastic. However, the lamb didn't impress me. Everything was priced at the very high end, so you'd expect more. Service was relatively friendly and attentive, but you got the feeling that all the employees were under extreme pressure, which affected the overall atmosphere. It was unpleasant that the manager ended up nervously reprimanding a young employee next to us. The young lady had looked after us very kindly and attentively. Everything could have been more relaxed. But okay. Two days later, the snack bar/pizzeria: Service was okay, but lacked the certain warmth you'd expect. The fries were only lukewarm and a bit limp, and the Neapolitana pizza was okay, but not exceptional. It's great that they offer gluten-free pizza! However, the Diavolo had no basil or oregano, and the menu for the regular pizza stated that ham was added to the spicy salami. Okay, but the pizza "only" cost 12 euros. The gluten-free dough was a ready-made product and quite hard. But it's better than no gluten-free pizza at all. The beer I ordered (also gluten-free, which is really cool, even if it was a Spanish beer) was forgotten... it can happen. Everything's fine. The location is super nice, right next to Il Paguro.
