Lots of expectations but then we weren't even able to eat. We booked on Saturday afternoon, also notifying us that we have a celiac child and asking if there were dishes for him. They answer us absolutely yes without problems there is practically everything. We arrive at the appointed time and they had missed the reservation. They manage to find us a table. I open the menu and I don't find any mention of any allergens or presence of a gluten-free menu, I kindly ask the waitress what my son can order and she replies that there are gluten-free sandwiches but that they are certainly contaminated because they were cooked together with the others. I ask her if they can at least pay a little attention and she says no. Not giving ourselves much hope, we decide to abandon the place, much to our disappointment and above all that of our child. Twenty minutes by car to go to McDonald's when all the restaurants in San Vincenzo were full as it was Saturday evening. Really bad and not serious. I understand that it is not easy to do gluten-free well and I appreciate those who do it (even though more and more places are now doing it well and with excellent feedback) but if you propose it and then say that you will surely contaminate it then it is better to avoid it altogether because celiac disease is a disease and contamination nullify all efforts. We are very sorry they practically ruined our evening.
