Very good restaurant if you want a non-tourist atmosphere. Their gluten free pasta options are wonderful!

In the center of Anacapri in a traffic-free square like the street to get there, in front of the Church of S.Sofia we find the nice "Materita" restaurant. The restaurant is well furnished with a fantastic outdoor area overlooking the street and small terraces. The environment is familiar but very efficient, the ready and discreet waiters are available for proposals and advice, if requested, on what to choose according to your wishes. The cuisine is Mediterranean seafood but with a focus on Campania and Caprese. You can also enjoy wood-fired pizza, of course, with well-worked and perfectly leavened dough with the typical manual skill of Campania pizza chefs. You can also enjoy appetizers, first courses and fish dishes in all ways but always in the name of the freshness of the catch and other ingredients which are delivered daily by trusted boats and farmers. The availability of the owner Ciro will make you feel at ease as if you had known each other forever. The cellar is well stocked and the homemade desserts are delicious. There are also options for vegetarians and gluten-free options. Reservation is recommended.
