The gluten-free pizza was a rock, arrived after 40 minutes. My pizza arrived after more than an hour. I basically watched my partner eat, dead of hunger, and she looked at me when she had already digested. I understand the mess or that there were a lot of people. But there are ways and ways of dealing with guests. In fact, a waitress looked at us badly, she was not very willing, and especially not very polite ... not even an "excuse me". Terrible service. Not cared for. Zero communication. And I repeat that pizza was a ROCK, freshly shoveled concrete. Greetings.

Ordered a gluten-free pizza, waited 40 minutes from the time of ordering, without being warned of the long wait required. I asked twice and each time I was told that it was almost ready. Pizza was hard to cut and tasted like yeast. At the cashier I was told that it was strange because their pizza is so popular, I felt like I was being mocked. The place is nice and the bathrooms are well-kept but overall it was a terrible experience.

A disappointing experience We had lunch at the Chalet restaurant in Fanano del Palagliaccio and unfortunately the experience was extremely disappointing, both for the service and the quality of the food. We arrived at 2:20 pm and ordered two pizzas at 2:28 pm, one of which was gluten-free. The normal pizza was served after about 15 minutes, but the gluten-free one took a good 40 minutes. This delay created an unpleasant situation: I had to eat my pizza, which was now cold, while my partner suffered from hunger for 40 minutes, watching my pizza get cold. It is unacceptable that two pizzas ordered together are served with such a discrepancy in time. The waiters justified themselves by saying that another table had ordered very large cutting boards, but it would have been a duty to warn us or at least organize the service better to serve both pizzas at the same time. Furthermore, the gluten-free pizza was really awful: ugly, dry, and so hard that it was difficult to cut. Despite being hungry, it was difficult to consume and the quality was far from what one would expect, especially considering the reputation that the place seems to have for itself. We also ordered a chocolate salami, but that was not satisfactory either. We reported the problems with the gluten-free pizza at the cashier, but we were given an arrogant and belittling response: "How strange, they come from all over Emilia for our gluten-free pizza." An unprofessional attitude that denotes a lack of attention to the customer and an inability to accept constructive criticism. In short, the service was disorganized and inattentive, the quality of the food (especially the gluten-free pizza) very poor, and the treatment received at the cashier was anything but courteous. We will not recommend this restaurant, especially to those looking for quality gluten-free options.
