Ritual On Main Cafe - Stittsville

My wife had a mocha and a gluten free brownie and I had a half decaf "Canadiano". The brownie was very good. The mocha was weak and the Canadiano was the worst americano style beverage I have ever had. It was awful. Weak and bitter. It is a cozy spot but the bar chairs to the left of the cash (where I left my barely touched Canadiano) were filthy. Not a great experience overall. P.S. The owner replied to this review and then deleted their comment for some reason. They said they realized that they had an issue with the espresso machine that day. They did not offer to make the next one on the house. They I also have a training issue because I could tell the espresso was going to be awful before I even tasted it. No crema. A good barista should know this.

Super cozy and cute, though loud. I wish they had more vegan+gluten free options, I would love to eat here but I can only get drinks.

Seems like it’s a hotspot for the Stittsville community to connect, study, work, etc. Order:Cappuccino, hot chocolate, chai tea latte. Favourite: Chai tea latte. It was the perfect combination of milk, spices and sweetness. Critiques: It can get very busy making it difficult to find a seat. In addition, the cappuccino tasted a tad too milky although I asked for a long shot of espresso. Bonus: They have many board games you can choose from. My family and I played uno while we drank our coffee and had a lot of fun. In addition, they have quite a bit of unique latte options that I have not seen at other cafes in the Ottawa area.
