River Belle Terrace

In my opinion. This is an underrated gem. We had no problem getting in and were seated on the patio. I ordered the buttermilk chicken with mashed potatoes. It was delicious! Crispy, slightly spicy, tender chicken breast. Creamy mashed potatoes and a surprisingly good apricot bbq sauce. The weakest point of this plate was the coleslaw, not seasoned and it was warm. My husband has celiacs disease and is vegan. He ordered the grain bowl. He said the flavors were well developed, delicious and he would get it again. He even said it edged out the gumbo at Tiana's palace in flavor. Bottom line. We had never been here before. Would not hesitate to return. Give it a try, you might be as surprised as we were.

I came here for my Birthday supper and I loved it! The food is delicious, the service is fast (though I strongly recommend placing a reservation), servers are kind & helpful and the patio area has a great view. A huge standout is the allergy options, in particular those for celiacs. A very good restaurant with delicious food. Highly recommended.
