River House Restaurant and Raw Bar

When you walk in, the vibe was upscale with a cool side of a jazzy experience just waiting for you. We were met with smiles. They called our server over, a fine young lad named Daniel. He seated us out on the patio overlooking the mighty Ohio River at sunset. Daniel offered a wealth of information. We had several food allergies from gluten-free to allergic reactions at our table. Daniel made sure every thing from appetizers to dessert were safe as well as scrumptious. He was very good and understanding with our children. He shrugged his shoulders and offered, "I have a four year old and a nine year old. " When he brought our order I asked him to take our picture. Well the very first picture he took was of himself! And then ours. I laughed and asked why? His simple reply, "I want you to remember me." Don't worry Daniel, we'll remember you and River House for a long time to come. And we'll be back soon! Thanks for a lovely night out with our family.

Amazing food and service. Could use a better gluten free offering, though. It is 2025 😍
