So glad we found Riverside Cafe! Just visiting Gurnee after living in area for 30 years…heading to an old favorite bkfst place when we spotted Riverside and decided to try something new. What a great find! Great atmosphere, pleasant server (thank you Eva!), and a wonderful large and fun selection of foods. My wife is celiac and found a great selection of gluten free (and our server was very knowledgeable in gf options), and I had the Farmers French toast - delicious. Our local friends said this will be their new regular bkfst stop!

Our group of 8 had a really great experience here. Food was super fresh and yummy, restaurant was very clean (including the bathrooms!), and our waitress, Xochitl, was so friendly and very knowledgeable of the menu and allergens. We have milk, cinnamon, and gluten allergies in our group.
