There are gluten free options but interestingly chips are not suitable and there is no provision for an alternative version 'because the ones we buy in have flour on them'. Commercially produced chips in bags and frozen are dusted with starch of some kind to stop them sticking in the pack and it doesn't have to be wheat flour. Moreover, great tasting, crunchy and GF chips are easy to cook by parboiling then frying and a quality kitchen would do this rather than buying in plastic-bagged chips. I had salad instead and, to call the bag of rocket with cucumber ribbons and a drizzle of dressing a salad, is a stretch. Another hint that the kitchen is a food assembly line instead of a chef's kitchen. Lovely staff and surroundings though, just not a place to go if you want well prepared, good food.

Had a lovely lunch with family. Food great, our server Lesley was fantastic. She was very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable (as I am Gluten Free, she couldn’t have been more helpful). Definitely will return.
