The mussels in my Spaghetti allo Scoglio were definitely dead. I had to spit them both out immediately :(
4 stars for the starters and desserts, 5 stars for our server. 1 star for the pasta entrees.
- the mussels in my allo scoglio tasted immensely fishy and were definitely dead.
- the tomato sauce & cherry tomatoes on the lobster ravioli kind of overpowered the dish, it was very acidic and you barely tasted the ravioli filling.
- The pasta was very hard. I wasn’t surprised that my gluten free pasta was tough, it’s easy to get wrong, but my husbands lobster ravioli was also a little too Al dente.
- the starters were delicious - loved the poached pear salad and the tuna tartare!
Next time I would just have appetizers and dessert and no pasta.
