Overall a great place to eat with big portions of well-made, tasty food. They also had many gluten-free options. The owner and staff were very friendly too.

I have a severe gluten allergy and service and food here has always been hit or miss (some wait staff will be very knowledgeable on allergies others won't be - I'll order something with no fries and be given fries, or something without a bun and be given a bun, I'll stress I have a severe gluten allergy and be given croutons) so I stopped coming here. However I came here recently and had an excellent server who was knowledgeable about how things are made in the back and I felt more comfortable about ordering. I ordered the Beef Asada off their "healthy plates" menu. I do wish they had a few more allergy safe options for those with celiacs or gluten allergies. I think the biggest issue here is cross contamination and would love a manager to weigh in on what they can do in the kitchen to support those with allergies. It would also be helpful if all staff was made universally aware of prep procedures and what substitutions are available. I'm more inclined to eat here again after my most recent experience!

I order delivery from here pretty often. During Covid - I would leave crafty pizza notes outside when there was no contact. In turn, my super hero delivery person, David, would return the isolation greetings with candy or cookies for my dog. It was a humanizing speck of a moment when everything else was so uncertain. It was a smile. I have very severe celiac, and really hate to order food unless I am standing there watching it all go down, but the log cabin has always done right by me. So tonight, when a mistake was made with my order….it wasn’t even 15 minutes and I had a new delivery at my door with the corrected food order, and two cut up pieces of fresh grilled chicken for the pup. I told him not to worry, but before I could protest - I heard an engine in my driveway. David rallied to do the right thing for me - and without warrant. He is an exceptional asset to the log cabin. Everyone makes a mistake. Not everyone corrects them. He’s top notch. The log cabin is top notch. Go in and see for yourself - or be like me and wait to see in your pjs in your couch. Either way you’ll be very well taken care of.
