Great country pub, good selection of cask and an excellent 2 for £20 value menu. I had roast beef dinner and the portion size and taste was great. My wife had fish and chips and was equally pleased.
Also a great gluten free menu so we'll be back with my coeliac daughter soon!

We were staying across the road and came here three times in three days. The food is remarkably good and very reasonably priced. They had lovely, varied gluten-free options and there is a gluten-free menu; they have clearly put thought into making sure there is something for everyone. Their haddock special was the standout for us but everything we had was good. They even made egg and chips on request and were always very friendly and kind. We'll be back!
