Fantastic! I was so ready to find this place in Cherry Grove. My family is gluten free and everyone was able to order from this menu. Margaritas are house made with no mix and our waitress Sara navigated an extensive menu so everyone had an elevated experience. 6 stars !

Me and my boyfriend went to Roca Raja when it first opened and we were not impressed. We thought we would give it another shot thinking they had worked out all their original issues by now. Sadly, they have not. First of all, how can you have a happy hour at a restaurant, but only offer it in the cantina upstairs? 🤔 You can buy a margarita during happy hour for $5 upstairs, but expect your customers to pay $8 for that same margarita downstairs? Secondly, the food, in our opinion, is just mediocre. The deconstructed street corn was flavorless. The fajitas, bland. This is a Mexican restaurant, where is the flavor? We ordered the three fajitas with shrimp, steak, and carnitas. Carnitas were so dry. Steak was flavorless. Shrimp was decent, but again, not a lot of flavor. The pico, cheese, etc for the fajitas was such a small portion, i wish I would have taken a picture.. there was literally enough for one fajita. Ask for corn tortillas since I have a gluten allergy, they sent out flour. And lastly, their choice of to go boxes is a joke. Cardboard box containers. Food soaks through and it’s just not feasible. This could be a great spot if they could work on these issues. If they don’t, there are far better Mexican restaurants on the Grand Strand, and they will not survive. Things might be good during the summer with all the tourist, but eventually they go away, and the locals won’t waste their money here….. And to seal the deal, the owner is a joke. It’s called free speech my friend..
