Nice looking restaurant with a good view but was quite disappointed by the gluten free options, found out after ordering a gluten free burger that they couldn’t do it gluten free, was offered a salad instead which came with less food than the gluten option but cost the same. Similar with desert, the “gluten free” pudding had something removed to make it actually gluten free despite the menu saying it was gluten free rather than something that would be adapted to be made gluten free. The desert itself was quite unpleasant as the poached pear was really hard and the honeycomb was burnt. Similar issue with the salad I had as my main which was incredibly acidic. Overpriced and staff didn’t really check on our food so we didn’t get to comment until we were done. I’d come back for drinks but that’s all.

Beautiful place and again plenty of choice for gluten-free people

I had the poached pear pancakes and they were such a let down. Four small flimsy pancakes that tasted like those premade ones you get from the supermarket, with one strawberry cut into quarters, four blueberries and four segments of pear (maybe a third a pear) which was still hard so not fully poached. The service was slow, they would just never come over and they didn't know if a dish they brought out which had been asked to be gluten free was gluten free so they took it out back and then just didn't come back for ages and instead the waitress just had a chat with her colleagues instead of explaining if they were bringing a new one or what.
