Rococo Bistro & Bar Noosa

We came here twice for breakfast during our holiday in Noosa. Unfortunately ran out of time to try dinner here but our breakfast experience was really great. We tried crepes (kids ordered both times we came as they loved them!), sardines on toast, breakfast burger, smashed avocado, ham & cheese toasties. They offered gluten free toasties for our kids aswell. Atmosphere is lovely, very relaxing music and a beautiful way to start your day. Wait staff are really friendly and we’re kind to the kids. I appreciated they gave us options of where we can sit. It really felt like we were back in Italy with the simple yet well balanced flavours of the food! I would recommend this restaurant to everyone ❤️

Looks nice on the exterior, but keep walking. Considering the prices this restaurant was charging, their offering in reality doesn’t match. I definitely don’t recommend this place. Bland tasteless pastas. Hot dishes served cold. Risotto with barely any portion of rice on the plate. Kids spaghetti with only a tablespoon of bolognese mince sauce on it. I mean…. and the waitress had no idea about basic dietary requirements, such as dairy free and gluten free, clearly no training provided to their wait staff. The management team need to read reviews like this and make necessary changes. Prime location on Hasting St, so much potential to be great. But “F” in grade for failed execution.

Everything is amazingly good: the food, the attentive service, the wait-time - all first class! We were a party of six, including three vegans (two of whom are gluten free and one is a three year old), and a coeliac. No problems at all. The waiter took our order without batting an eye, knew exactly what to swap in for the gluten dishes we ordered (pasta eh?) and could even recommend and help the vegans in the group. There was even a colouring-in menu for the child. A great night and not at all expensive.
