The restaurant is super cute and themed throughout. We were really looking forward to having to freeze when Andy came. It was fun and the wait staff were pretty creative with how they were positioned. I have to eat gluten free and was very happily surprised that I could eat most things on the menu. My favorite for the meat was the brisket for sure. I know my group said the first batch of chicken was a little dry, but that the second batch was really good. The tater tots and corn were gf as well and delicious. I know my group really liked the buns (non gf ones) that they got and even asked for more. The waiter we had was sassy and hilarious! It was super busy, but he was on top of refills and at the end gave me all 3 gf desserts to try instead of just 1. It made my day! The only reason I knocked a star off is bc of the price and that they don't offer any discounts here (dvc,ap) probably bc they're so new still. I would totally go back though!

So my family and I were there on January 17th. We were actually a huge group of 12 that actually had to be split up between 2 tables and two different reservation times. My other table said they had an amazing experience and enjoyed both the food, atmosphere and the server. It was our table that had the difficulties. When we sat down we immediately informed the server that we had the Disney Dining Plan and how it would be split due to us having 3 different groups at our one table. The server got our drink order and we didn’t see him again for 30 minutes! He kept saying that our allergy list was what was causing delays but how does a gluten allergy cause delays for water and soda?? Then since it was only 1 person with gluten allergy and 1 with diary they decided that we would get half the normal meal and half a “allergy safe” meal. However this meant that our reservation at 7:50 didn’t get food until 8:40 pm and that was just the first course. Asking for drink refills was near impossible as the server did his best to ignore us despite us asking for water 4+ times while being there and only 3 of us actually getting any. We got served “plain corn on the cob” along with stuff that tbh tasted quiet bland, dense and such for the “dietary restrictions” 2 of us had. I will say the mac n cheese, brisket and ribs were the highlights of the meal! Including the cheese biscuits! But the experience continued to sour as they began closing up around us when we were barely halfway thru our meal and it took another 20 minutes to get the waiters attention to bring dessert. By this time I have to mention that our other group who was sat 30 minutes after us had already come, eaten, gotten dessert and was waiting for us to go to our LL for rise of the resistance. Whelp the park had closed at 9 and we weren’t handed our check until 9:20 pm there was a whole blowup due to missing the LL and the worst service I have ever received from any Disney restaurant before! Tbh I don’t think I will ever go back tho despite the decent food the experience and price don’t equal out. Go to Ohana!

GLUTEN FREE AND DAIRY FREE REVIEW: There was plenty of options to accommodate my food allergies. I was able to have all of the meats, most of the vegan meat options, gluten free dinner rolls (which were the best I’ve ever had), the potato salad, AND they even had a dessert option (which is incredibly rare for someone with multiple allergies to have access to when eating out). Was it expensive? Yes. Was it worth the cost? For me, as someone who struggles to find allergy friendly options that actually taste good? Yes 100%. For someone who doesn’t have that same issue, probably not. It’s not the best bbq out there by any means, but I enjoyed knowing I could eat food safely prepared by chefs who have gone through training for allergies.
