Rokko’s Teriyaki and BBQ

Came to Rokko‘s today for the first time and instantly felt very comfortable in the environment. Inez, one of the owners was so sweet and explained all of the gluten-free options for my friend. I ended up getting a Red Bull Italian soda that was delicious. Paired that with the tofu teriyaki bowl with wasabi Mac salad and what I think is a poppyseed dressing for the side salad. Heaven! The wasabi mac had some heat, but wasn’t too hot, which was really nice. The tofu and rice was absolutely amazing. I’d say the best tofu I ever had. Lightly fried on the outside with a soft center, it was perfection. The sauces Dave and Inez use are delicious and made in house which is cool because you can take a bottle home with you. Plate lunch is my favorite kind of food and after living in Hawaii for eight years I’ve got to say this was one of the best! Can’t wait to go back 🙃

Delicious. Great gluten free spicy peanut sauce! Huge portions, our whole family liked it. What a treasure! We will be back.
