Roll This Way

We had our wedding reception at Roll This Way in their Origami room in July 2024. RTW catered the event with their delicious handmade sushi rolls, sashimi, dumplings and teriyaki chicken. They were very well organized and accommodating, with a lot of back and forth emails to arrange everything and they even helped set up the decorations the day of, managed the live streaming of our ceremony and ensured all the food was gluten free. And their photo booth was a big hit with the guests. RTW made our wedding so unique and memorable, it was a perfect day!

We booked Roll This Way for an in person sushi making class for our firm's holiday party this year and had an absolutely fantastic experience! When we arrived the venue was set up for us and they opened the venue and bar 1 hour prior to the class time to allow all staff to arrive and have a drink before the class started. The class itself was extremely well done, the presenter was engaging and very thorough. While explaining how to make the sushi there was a live video feed on the screen behind him showing a downwards view of him making the sushi at the same time as us which our attendees found extremely helpful. The instructor kept class interesting by telling us sushi making tips (where to get the best seafood, how to make sushi rice). We had some friendly competition once all the sushi was made to see who made the best rolls! Our staff loved the hands on aspect of the class and enjoyed the sushi even more. Additionally, we were very impressed with how the venue handled food allergies. We have a celiac on staff who was able to attend and was given a special box that contained ingredients she could eat (they use Tamari rather than Soy Sauce). They also offer a vegan/vegetarian option as well! I would definitely recommend Roll This Way to anyone looking to book a fun and interactive activity for staff!
