It’s getting to be ridiculous the degrading quality of this pizza. Romas is something I grew up on- it holds a lot of special memories in my life. However, almost immediately after the sweet older woman passed, things just dropped downhill. I do expect grief to take some toll on quality, but it’s been a very long time now since, and there’s no excuse. Awhile back I ordered the gluten free crust to try, and went to go pick it up. As I was about to grab my card and receipt after paying, I asked the lady her thoughts on it, and she told me it tastes just like cardboard. Wow, way to make me so excited to eat my pizza. (It did taste like cardboard though, unfortunately). Today, my husband and me went to pick up some pizzas. Spent over $50. The man was super short with us, not one smile and seemed bothered. Then we got home to eat the pizzas. I had 4 pieces of my LARGE and the sauce tasted so off- chemically, almost, or like a weird plastic-ly sweet taste. The dough was chewy and rubbery. I tried to finish my fourth piece and had to spit it out. I am waiting to see if that might cause some food poisoning, but so far so good thankfully. Keep in mind I’ve had Romas countless times in my life and I know when the food isn’t the same. I am super frustrated overall because I spent good money and couldn’t even eat more than 4 pieces. I even tipped even though we didn’t eat inside. If I could rewind time, I’d not waste my money on todays Romas pizza and go to dominos instead. We rarely eat out and this was suppose to be a treat for my birthday in a few days- what a disappointment. Everyone I talk to says the same thing about this place- that it’s “not what it used to be,” “extremely disappointing,” and the like. Please bring the care back to the way it was years ago. Romas was an icon, with one of a kind pizza that everyone loved. What’s the deal? Why has it changed? Where is the love?

Server was curious, food came out hot. And tasted great. We had a gluten free pizza. It was one of the better ones we've had. My wife had celiac. Portions were good and the rest of our party enjoyed their choices.
