I was looking for a nice spot to have a luncheon after a memorial service and stumbled upon Roman Inn. After speaking with the chef, John Michael, and explaining my needs, I was sold!
I needed a space for 30 people, about their capacity, so they closed for us to have a private event. The menu was sensational and, although a BYO, they offer mocktaiks of Mojitos and Jamaican Punch and allowed us to bring wine and spirits. Yes, there is a bottle fee, but, for a private event, well worth it!
We started with Spring Salad and, probably the best Antipasto tray I have had. The main course was Penne a la Vodka, Chicken Francaise and Seared Salmon in a garlic butter sauce. Because of a couple of guests with dietary restrictions, we also had gluten free penne with grilled chicken.
Dessert was, again one of the best I've had, Tiramisu, Chocolate Chunk Cookies and assorted Italian Cookies. The staff was so accommodating and everyone raved about the place and the food!
I would highly recommend for a dinner out, takeout at home, a catered event or a private event. I look forward to many more visits.
