Ron and Pat's Pizza Shack

Wow! I Googled pizza places near me, and decided to give Ron and Pat’s a try. I’m gluten free, and have gotten used to sub par crust. All I can say is WOW. Crispy, crunchy and tasty. The sauce was perfect. Cooker to perfection. I dare say this is the best pizza I’ve ever had (including the time before I avoided gluten)

Best pizza in the lake county area. Honestly their gluten free pizza rivals any bougie artisan pizza place within 100 miles. Great pizza, cute indoor spot, and great service. This pizza shop is the quintessential small USA business.

The pizza was delicious! I ordered for takeout. Very happy to see vegan cheese and gluten free crust options! I had to remove 1 star from service because one pizza did take a very long time to cook, but that was because I had ordered the double decker. The employees in the restaurant were extremely apologetic and I can tell the long wait was something they do not hold to their normal standards. Other pizza places could act nonchalant about the long wait, but the attitude here tells me that they really do care! If the employees had a different attitude about the long wait I would have certainly docked more stars. I would suggest to order the standard crust thickness if time is an issue. I didn't get an opportunity to try the stuffed pizza but I would imagine the stuffed pizza would take just as long as the double decker to cook.
