I had dinner here with several of my friends at celebration after an exam. The food here was great, and it did taste authentic. I ordered the chicken biryani with medium level spice. The rice tasted slightly fried and seasoned well. It was salty, and it was not overly spicy. I feel that getting the maximum level spiciness would be excessive so air on the side of caution. The garlic naan is a bit thicker than typical naan. It is also not greasy like other naans that I’ve had. Portion sizes in general are fair for the price. I would recommend getting the entrées and try to go into the restaurant during lunchtime so that you can get a lunch special.
The food here can also be made Halal if you request it. Several of my friends would benefit from meeting here as they follow Halal guidelines. if you have allergies, the menu, bolds and capitalizes, cashews or nuts, if they are present as one of the ingredients. The restaurant also marks which dishes are vegan or gluten-free if you follow those guidelines as well.
Overall, I will recommend this restaurant if Indian cuisine comes up, or if something needs to be celebrated .
