Roosevelt Tavern

Byron is incredible! I'm gluten and garlic allergic and he never ceases to amaze me by making my meal superb, as close to the regular menu as possible with beautiful presentation and delicious!! Wow! The short rib, filet and red beet salad are my favorites.

We feel mixed about our experience at Roosevelt Tavern. Our waitress offered us a salad with our meal. She made it sound like it came with the meal. On top of that, we were charged $3 for each mushrooms and onions to our already expensive fillet mignon. This is shady and concerning business practices. Everything else about our experience was excellent. Our steak and salad were superb, rich in flavor. The wait staff was fast to refill non-empty glasses. They catered well to my girlfriend who has a severe gluten allergy. We are not sure if we will return, however, due to the misleading offerings from the first paragraph. We understand business, especially restaurants, are hurting from the pandemic. This is not the way to recover.
