Roost Restaurant

Also attached to the Hyatt Regency. Great Sunday brunch menu! Celiac friendly. Classics with an upscale twist. I’d definitely go back!

I have eaten at this restaurant multiple times over the years, which is located inside of the Hyatt Regency hotel. It is at 220 North Main St. area of downtown Greenville. The restaurant has multiple entrances from the street without entering the hotel. Reservations are recommended because this is a popular spot to sit, and people watch while sitting in the covered outdoor area having a cocktail on a nice day. This time, we were celebrating a birthday. Service and staff are always excellent, and we even had a robot server to bring our food to the table. The food is what keeps us coming back. All of the drinks and food we ordered were fantastic and very well prepared and flavorful. For drinks, we had Bubbles & Berries, Floral & Fading, The Castaway, and Strawberry Sangria. For appetizers, we tried the dry rug wings, and guacamole with homemade sweet potato chips. For entrée’s, we had the Da Vinci Flatbread, Almond Crusted Trout, Apple Cider Braised Pork, Spinach Fettuccine, and Fried Rice with vegetables. The menu also has food items that are gluten-free, vegetarian, and vegan. If you are on North Main St. in the 200 block, I encourage you to give Roost a try. Let’s eat!!!
