Cozy atmosphere, delicious food with a variety of vegan & gluten free options outside of the norm. Baked goods were on point and the staff was friendly and kind. To top it all off they have vegan candy bars 👍

Root and Press never disappoints. All their food is so delicious! I was ordering with my best friend who has Celiac’s and she swears by Root and Press because she’s always successful in finding something delicious! I like the new location a lot, how they separated the book room from the dining room. I feel like there’s much more room to peruse. I had the sun dried tomato pesto pasta and the portion was awesome and it was hot and delicious. Recommended highly if you want a cute little spot for a delicious meal and a book to read.

We. Love. This. Place. The food is interesting and tasty, the atmosphere is cozy-funky, the service is exceptional, and there are BOOKS! Lots of great books. As a gluten-free diner, I also really appreciate being able to get delicious (not-to-sweet) pastries and french fries from a dedicated fryer. What's not to like? :-)
